What do you get when a Saab Guy works on a Volvo.......fill in the punch line here.....:}

But seriously, I am looking for a VACUM LINE diagram besides the cryptic one under the hood for my 1982 244T. Every hose was disintergrating so I dont even have a common sense clue for routing.Any help would be great! And just because you are used to looking at the back of my SAAB I dont think any less of you all......HAHAHAHA

wiring diagrams, no problem. vacuum lines? never seen anything other than the hood stickers.

an 82 is a k-jet car so I don't even know /what/ to expect there, mine are all LH (electronic injection) which Volvo adopted in 1985 or so, well ahead of most of the other manufacturers.

 

k-jet.org might have one.....SAAB....yeah it's native to Sweden but Volvo has the heart of the people, family feuds never end up nice....specially when these cousins are very unique....

 

Thanks for all the suggestions. The under hood diagram was a little confusing....because it is a generic non-turbo diagram. But after looking at the diagram and the existing hoses, I was able to decipher the correct routing. But in the process I "touched" the wiring harness....and it vaporized.....so now waiting for the new one to arrive.

I am watching the Hattfields and Mckoys....so the fueding cousin thing is fitting..........cousin lovin.....SAAB Turbo set up in a Volvo would be the result

Welcome to our delicate inners. I am contemplating on re-doing the wiring on my 79 K-jet as it is VAPORIZING AS WE SPEAK. Can you upload some pics of the engine? Thanks

 

Yes will do. I bought a new harness from Dave Bartons Volvo online. It was $264 SHIPPED. I will let you know how it looks.
