Default 1982 245 halogen conversion

i bought a set of halogen conversion lights from APW. the fit was fine but when i turned the low beams on the high beams came on too. backfeeding somehow. any ideas? sent them back but sure did like how bright they were.

for single round headlights? or quad recs?
Only aware of the 7" round ones.
I think for that year, you need the pigtail to work. They should be drop ins for the 75-79s. (that is for the single rounds)

I have the 4 headlight system. I tried the replacement on the low beams to see how they fit and worked before buying all 4. they use a halogen 2003 bulb with 3 prongs. as is said they fit great, look good being new plastic housing but for some reason backfeed and make the high beams come on. there are no wiring instructions with the kit. thought someone here had tried it too.
