Default 1985 4 speed 240 dl wagon keeps dying

Hello I would like to know if anyone could help me out. I replaced the fuel pump and and module filters are working but the car won't stay started, keeps dying and seems like when I step on the gas it it acts like it wants to stall.
I sure hope someone can give me an idea cause my boyfriend is getting a little ticked.

Thank you

not really nearly enough info to hazard a guess as to the causes here.

your car is smack in the middle of the 'eco junk biodegradable wiring' years, has the engine wiring harness been replaced? if not, then all kinds of problems could be lurking in the wiring, with the inner insulation flaking off the wires inside the black sheathes.

air leaks in the intake path, anywhere after the MAF/AMM can do this. gummed up throttle can do this. cracked IAC (Idle Air Control) hoses can do this.
