1987 240?
So I bought this 240 from an old guy. it is is darn good condition for a car this age. 85,000 miles on the clock and it works. Needs a primary? (tank) fuel pump.
My problem is trying to identify parts for this car. The title says it is a 240. The insignia on the car says it's a 240. I am having a good deal of trouble finding parts for a 240 of this model year.
What, pray tell, am I doing wrong??
Also, what is a good reliable source, online, for parts for this old sled?
Thanks,
Gus

my favorite parts vendors are www.fcpeuro.com, www.ipdusa.com and the volvo dealer parts counter (or one of the internet dealers, like https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/ or www.tascaparts.com ...) catch-22 with the online volvo dealers, often their online parts catalogs don't cover these older models, so it helps to have a copy of VADIS, a CDRom parts catalog volvo dealers used in the 2000s so you can look parts up. VADIS is a pain to run and use (I run it in a virtualbox running windows XP that has all networking disabled, and has its clock set back to 2005).
