1988 volvo wont start up after accident
Hello. I just recently got into a small fender bender accident. Nothing serious just a cracked headlight and cracked grill. No body damage. My main concern was right after we hit. I turned off the car and tried to start it up but nothing happend? There is power but the car doesn't crank over? At the scene another guy was telling me about a special censor that switches off once in a accident? If so can anyone help out. Thanks

a 2008 XC90 has *NOTHING* in common with the 1988 models. heavily computerized car. a dealer, or skilled independent volvo specialist mechanic has the computer tools required to diagnose these.
this section of volvoforums is strictly for the 1980s/90s Volvo 240,740.940 classic rear wheel drive sedans and wagons, with various B21/B23/B230F inline 4 cast iron engines. *COMPLETELY* different than an XC90 SUV.
