1990 240 DL Transmission line connection
Good morning, I am new here. My transmission line is corroded and begining to drip. The lines are available but the 2 connectors - 1239669 - are elusive. Any suggestions on finding the conectors or on how to remove existing lines from connectors I already have without having everything fall apart.
Many thanks,
Robert

I had to do this job on two of my 240s. The fittings are simple flare fittings. I think I ended up using steel brake line and fabricating the pieces myself. As far as the flare fittings, I just went to napa or ace hardware to find flare fittings with the correct thread. To do this though, I had to remove the old fittings and bring them with me to ensure proper fitment. I realize it's a littler harder if that is your only means of transportation.
make sure you use flare wrenches on those fittings. thats a special 5-sided wrench designed to get a good grip on said flare fittings.
kinda surprised Ace etc would have metric flare fittings.
