Default 1990 240 Rough Start/Idle

Hi all,

2 weeks ago my 240 began having issues when starting. It has developed a very rough idle and sounds like it has a miss. If I push the acelerator down slightly it it will speed up slowly and eventually smooth out into a nice clean idle and rev. Once it smooths out I can shut it off and it will start right back up again with no issues. It only does this if it has been sitting and is cold. While it is idling rough it also is producing a bit of blue smoke - not sure if this has anything to do with it, but it normally doesnt smoke when it starts normally.

So far I have replaced the plugs, plug wires, rotor cap/button and fuel filter with no luck. The problem doesnt seem to be ignition related, but I am not certain where to begin where the fuel system is concerned, as I do not see a test port for fuel pressure anywhere on the fuel rail.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You have to "T" into the fuel line to test for fuel pressure..
