Thanks for the past help with the radio replacement. A 'donor' 740 arrived at my local Volvo repair shop and we did a swap.

I have had this ride since it was new and now it is time to get the cracked dash covered. What ideas do you have on a simple DIY dash cap or cover?

I live in Illinois where the temperature can be between 20 below to the high 90's and this car is a driveway car so it is somewhat subject to temperature swings.

DIY? Really? I'd just watch eBay for one of the CarMat covers. They are cheap new and cheaper used. Also, if you ever get to a junk yard, they are fairly common...
