1991 740 Distributor Seal
So, I had an overheating problem with my 1991 740 non-turbo and they told me at the repair shop a few other things that were wrong with it. I want to do them myself since I am very handy with a car and have worked on quite a few before. One of the things they said was wrong was a distributor seal. I went on NapaOnline.com and found a distributor seal kit and 2 o-rings, all for under $10. Now I would like to know how hard this is to do and what all is required. I tried searching around, but haven't come up with anything yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cliff's Notes: How do you change out the distributor seal and 2 o-rings?

The dist. comes out pretty easy. There is 2 10mm screws holding it in.
Then you will see the seals. But check the dist. shaft for play. If it has play then don't even bother try to find a good used dist.
If you do the seal you will haev to knock out the pin holding the offset key looking thing on.
Then slide the shaft out and remove the washer looking thing on the top side.(Carefully)
Then you can replace the seal and put every thing back together.
