Default 1992 940GL shuts down at random

I have owned a well-cared for 1992 940GL for a year and a half. Every now and then the car would not start after it had been driven for awhile and was nice and warmed up. As time has passed, the frequency of this issue has increased to the point where the car will just shut down while idling at a stop light. Once the car cools down for 5 or 10 minutes, it fires right back up. I have been told that it could be the Electronic Control Unit, which looks to be a fairly easy fix. Any ideas as to the cause of this issue would be greatly welcomed.

Pull codes first. There are several problems on these cars that could cause this problem.
