Default 1994 940 base model

Trying to figure out where to start looking for this problem. All at the same time my speedometer, odometer, and cruise stopped working. Turned the car off, and a few hours later started it up and noticed all three had quit working. Where do I need to start to track down this problem?

First I'd check the wiring in the rear end, make sure it has not been damaged thus interrupting the signal to the speedo. If that's not the case, then the speedo unit itself failed, i.e. the capacitors inside. No easy or cheap solution exists, but 1994s are not that prone to failure so may be a used speedo may be a solution--much cheaper than a new one.

I'd second checking the wiring in the rear end, especially the connection right at the rear axle and/or the connection at the cluster itself. Before replacing the cluster, I'd recommend re soldering the affected joints on the cluster, if you figure the cluster is the problem. I've fixed more than my fair share of problems by simply re-soldering electrical connections. The only way the speedo and odo are 'connected' is through the cluster. Cruise control is directly connected with the speedo, so that part not working makes partial sense.
