Default 1994 940 volvo 4Dr. Sedan non turbo

Want to rebuild rear brakes with new pads but need to know if the 940 4 Door sedan has multi link suspension or regular. It is a rear wheel drive with the rear chunk in it.
I know nothing about suspension and how would you be able to tell by looking at it.
Any and all help appreciated in advance.

PS Done search and could not find any definite answer. Would like to know since I will have to order the pads.

The only 940 that had a multi link rear end was the 1991 SE(which was actually a 960 with a 4 cylinder engine). All other 940's had a solid axle. If you have a "chunk" coming from the rear end it could be a bushing worn out, rather than brakes.

Thanks for the quick reply. Will get the non- multi link brake pads for the rear and see how that works out. Thanks again.
