Default 1994 940T Unexplained Stalling

165000 miles, problem is complete shutdown of vehicle(stall)the instrument panel will light up(every alarm available)then I will lose power to everything( brakes, steering, radio, heat). The car will usually start right after, sometimes start then stall again, but usually within 2 minutes I am back on the road. I have read posts here on the forums and it seems that it could be anything from the coil to the fuel pressure. Any advice on where to start?

^^^Without a few tools, it's difficult to pinpoint which. If the crank position sensor has failed, the ecu will send no signal to the fuel injectors so...theoretically, if you had a noid light plugged into one of the injector harness plugs and tried cranking it the light should not fire. If the fuel pump relay has failed, neither the inline under car pump nor the intank pump will fire up when the key is first turned to run position. Generally, assuming no road noise, you can lean out of the driver's door and hit the key and hear the under car pump run. It only runs for a second or two. If you have a particularly quiet pump, you may need an assistant to turn the key while you lay on the ground and listen. Ditto w/ the intank pump...remove the gas cap and hold your ear to the filler while someone turns the key. By all means, check the codes on the OBD. Generally, the CPS will set a code.
