Hi!
I have a 1994 volvo 940 non turbo that when i stop at a red light and put the car in neutral gear, it revs up to about 1200 rpm, some time, it revs from 1200 to 2000 rpm.
It start doing this about a month ago.
It was not doing this before.
Any help where to look to fix this?

Ps. The car is in california and it is a gasoline engine.

 

It sounds like the throttle position sensor is not closing. Do you know how to adjust that?
