Hello,[/align][/align]I was wondering if anybody could help with my situation. I have a 1995 940 Turbo and it appears that the rears doors won't open from either the outside or the inside. At first, it was the rear left that wouldn't open so I left for about a year or so. But then the other day, the rear right won't open now. It appears that the latch mechanism maybe broken. How wouldItake off the panels with the doorsclosed? Has anybody experienced this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.[/align][/align]Thanks[/align]

 

It is going to be a Nightmare to get them off with the door stuck shut.
You might have to destroy them to get them off.

best bet is if you can look at the local junk yard if they have one.
Make a game plan and see if the ones there are good if you need to buy them.

 

just bought a 740 wagon the rear passenger door wont open
i knew this buying it

the lock button is down - power locks
could this be a problem with the wiring or latch or?
the door is closed

will taking the paneling inside off help?

 

was hoping someone would post something about this. driving a 91 740T sedan and my rear right door wont open. and i wanted to install some speakers but that seems out of the question since it will be pretty hard to do that without opening the door.

 

scratch that - the gal i bought it from didnt try pulling the lock button up REALLY hard
it was just stuck in some way
the electric lock doesnt work but the lock works manually as well as the door
coo.
