240, 240 DL, 240 GL Question

240, 240 DL, 240 GL Question
I have seen plenty of 240 and 240 DLs (USA), but do not see many of the GLs. Were the GLs produced in significantly smaller numbers than the other trim levels? I just picked up a 1992 GL with only 107,000 miles off the original owner and it has a good number of options that my DL doesn't have.
Options:
- Factory fog lights
- Heated mirrors
- Manual sunroof with wind deflector
- Heated seats
- Power mirrors
- Power windows
- Power door locks
- AM/FM/Cassette
- No alloy wheels

what exactly GL included varied by year, and generally was a set of things that were optional on DL's.
our 1987 was a 240GL, had sunroof, leather, and ummmm, thats it ? oh, tach with the speerate small clock. didn't even come with a radio, that was a dealer installed option we skipped. oh, it had cruise control, too.
