Hi all. I am new to the forums, and I am thinking about getting a 240 wagon. I really love the looks of the cars, and as a first car, I am really excited!

Anyways, there is a white wagon that I am looking at, but if I want to change it's color to the classic burgrundy, will it last? Are there any special things I should know about...whether it be about tendencies with the paint on 240, or the process to change the color. Obviously I am not going to do it, but I also am going to need to know the color of the burgrundy. Does it have a name or number, so I can identify it?

I suggest posting this question in the 240 forum (this forum is for the S70). As far as getting the car re-painted you'd need to know the Volvo paint code for the burgundy color your talking about. Here's a link to Volvo paint codes. The one you want may be 103...the members over in the 240 forum may be able to help you out.
