240 Dropping Voltage
Sup guys
For the past few months my 240 has been running great (except for when it was below 15F, then it wouldn't start) but a few days ago, I noticed that my voltage on my dashboard meter has been dropping slightly into the full red, maybe to 11V. Normally it sits at around 12.5V or so. Sometimes it will shoot up to 14V and then slowly drop over the course of a minute or two to 11V.
I had this problem a while ago, but it was a bad alternator; I had Both the battery and Alternator replaced less than a year ago. The battery tested great, so I think its an alternator issue. I'm going check the wires around it.
My question; Is there anything particular I should check or know about?
Not sure if they're related, but it has been raining hard everyday this past week, and my tachometer has been acting funny (dropping to zero and back) sporadicly in the past few days too
Thanks for the help. Being in a moving car that dies because of lost voltage is scary as ****.
