I know that this is an old topic, but I am unable to locate the OD relay for my '88 240 sedan. I was able to look around some with the side panels removed under the dash and the front cover of the lower dash where the ashtray, etc. are. Still no luck. I did see a couple of relays but none that were the same as the one I purchased from the dealer ($60.00 USD). Any help will be appreciated.

Take out the soft panel that is below the dashboard in the passengers footwell and the look up and back towards the firewall, and see where the big wiring harness comes through from the engine to the passenger compartment, and ends up at the ECU in the passengers side kick panel. Follow it along, and the first relay that you see that splits off from lthe harness should be your quarry.
