Default 240 Odomoter failure

The odometer on my 240 stopped working at 159,9xx miles (since ive had it). On craigslist I see other people with the same problem at about 160k. Is this a common issue with 240s?

Heres a pic of my car, too.

It is indeed a common issue. Mine went out a little over 300000 miles. IPd sells a kit with instructions for replacing a gear that goes bad. I did it to my car. It was quite easy. Took me about 15 minutes. Does your instrument cluster light well? If not you should replace bulbs while you're back there too.
Here's that kit: 240 Odometer Repair Kit
Hope this help!
