Question 240 Power Window Ground Connection Broken

The ground wire that runs to the drivers side power window switch must be broken because all of my windows stopped working. If I run a temporary ground to the switch then all windows work.

What is the best way to run a permanent ground to the switch? Can I do it somewhere inside the door, or do I need to run it through the hinge area and ground it behind the fuse panel somewhere?

Thanks

I had the same thing happen - lost my ground to the driver side switch array. I spliced in a new wire, found an accessible screw in that door's inner frame and connected to it. Is that OK to do? I don't know but it works for me.
