What would you guys say a reasonable price for a "good" (ie no mech defects, decent paint, etc.) 240 would be?
Is the auto or 4+OD more desireable?
For comparison, I am using $760 for a "good" BMW 528e.

 

I bought a 91 240 s.w. 5 spd in 2002 for $2500. Auto trans will get less mpg; local volvo guru likes the 4spd w overdrive. I had to replace the trans 2 yrs ago; the B230F engine is quite strong at 250K but am having problem with leak thru seals due to pressure building in engine.

 

In north carolina a friend of mine has been interested in a 240. We looked for a couple of months. I was not impressed with what we found 2400$-5200$ on cars needing a lot of work 1986-1992 (I didn't know my car was worth so much!)

 

around $2k to $2500 will be a good price


i bought my 1991 240 wagon for $2k with everything in good condition.. seats, engine, trans.

 

I paid $1200 on Ebay for a 1987 245 auto. GFreat cond. 140,000 miles. Wouldn't sell it for $2500. Won’t sell it at all!
