Default 240 Rear Hubs

Did these change in the later models? I purchased some chrome beauty rings/center caps to put on my 92 wagon, but the rears don't seem to "snap" into place. Did the later models have the groove in the hub for the clips, like the older models, or was this changed?

Thanks!

Whats your rim size? Beauty rings might not work on 15 inchers, old dog dish hubcaps will if you want a cop car look.

I have the stock 14 inch Volvo wheels...and purchased the stock Volvo beauty rings, center caps from an older Volvo. Everything fits, but the center hubcap doesn't seem to secure. I know the older 240's had a groove in the hub for the 3 clips to sit in...just curious if that changed with newer models.

Try putting the hubcaps on first, then the center caps should squeeze right in. Be VERY careful when pulling them off, these caps aren't exactly dent resistant. I ran the older hubcaps on my '92 sedan no problem, they even worked on the 15 inchers.
