I just bought a 91 240 Sedan for my son...Runs great and looks great...I have an issue of the Automatic Shifter not going in gear unless I pull the housing off and click some plastic lever over to let it go into Drive...Some type of override????....I don't know how I figured that out but also discovered that the Electric Windows now do not work...maybe a fuse that works both Windows and Shifter??? I don't know but that is what has "driven" me here....Surely I am not the only one to experience this...Please HELP!!!....thanks so much!

 

Depending on specification 2 fuses are mentioned with regard to your problem:

#7 Shift lock, brake lights, ABS - 8amp.
#12 AC (with blower control), power windows relay, heated rear window relay, seat belt reminder, cruise control, shift lock - 8amp.
