I have a leak on the passenger side of my 85 240's sunroof. Any ideas on how to unclog the gutter hole? a long pipe cleaner? It's very rainy in NorCal this year, please help if you can.

You might try blowing compressed air (a blow gun end hooked up to a compressor) through the holes from either end. Otherwise you will need quite a long wire.

 

Using compressed air or even a wire is risky business as the drain hose runs through the A pillar and after this many years can easily be damaged. I use a vacuum first and then gently force water from a hose into the upper drain. Once I determine from the dripping water which drain on the bottom pinch weld goes to the SR drain hose, I work from the bottom up. Often times it is nothing more than mud blocking the exit hole. If you do use compressed air..be VERY gentle.

 

had the same problem in my 740, took compressed air to the tubes and checked the weather stripping and fixed the problem for good.
