New windshield on 240 leaks
I just had my windshield on a 1990 240 sedan replaced. It leaks - arg! I have had it back once; it is going back a second time this week.
Evidently the problem is with the clips that keep the window molding on. I wanted to keep the original molding. Does anyone have any suggestions that I can pass on to the windshield folks to assure that they do resolve the problem this time?
Yes, they are the experts; just hoping someone might have a suggestion.
thanks

I have had much better luck with the newer one piece rubber moulding. The factory chrome strips and clips almost always leak. The new black rubber looks really good on a black car, or a newer 240 with black striping, IMO.
