240 and Virgo wheels question
Acquired a very low mileage '92 sedan. Runs great but OLD tires on stock wheels. But have set of Virgo rims from my long-gone 240 Turbo wagon. Would rather put new tires on the Virgos. Unfortunately, the long lug nuts that went with them are long gone, too. Aftermarket and used market seems mostly devoid of used original lug nuts. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.
But, the aftermarket has lots of new sets, some of which wouldn't be too abysmal cosmetically. The question is whether they match the through-hole angle and are long enough. Does anyone know the lug hole bevel/angle on Virgos or has tried aftermarket lug nuts successfully? Also, I guess, is there a required length? The originals were longer than most I've seen. Might be a lug socket clearance issue.
If I can get this thing on the road with good, new tires I can begin sorting out whether the shocks need replacing. And then I can address the broken odometer.
