Is this an easy task? It is my Sis-in-Laws car, Firestoned says they all need to be replaced and seeing the work those bozo's do it doesn't surprise me! I just need to know if i can take my Four way, Floor jack, WD40, a couple of good ball peen Hammers, and 2 beers ... and so it at her house, or will i need to bring it here and tear into it..

the car is an 89 240DL

Any help is appreciated!

Ya, ive done this b4 on my 88 240 Dl, i just took off the wheel, unscrewd the roater, theres a screw a little above to the middle and below to the middle of the caliper. Then take off the caliper (which simpely slides off), then take off the roater. Then take a hammer and hit the stud untell its loosen, then pull it out. When replacing, pull through, then you will need a sicrle bigger than the screw but not the entire stud, you will need to pull the stud enough so it stays in place. Then put it all back to geather. The stud might not come through as much as the other right away, but after a few weeks it should. Hope that helps, by the way, what does your car run 0-60, casue mines slow and ive never been able to find a stat on it.
