Default 450 dollar 240 wagon: buy or not?

1983 240 wagon is what I am looking to buy...it has 200,000miles on it and when cold starts kind of rough but when it warms up it runs smooth...

what do ya say, buy or not?

Is the car in good shape otherwise? If so I'd go for it.

Good condition or not, that's a steal! Those things have a cult following. I have seen shells with no motor go for a grand! The wagon 240 are more "desireable" than the sedan.. If it was me, I would be all over it. I know I am looking for a wagon and they definitely not easy to come by!

Where is it located? If you don't take it, I will. ha ha j/k

But seriously, that car is a steal. I bet all it needs is a tune up and it would run like a champ.

My experience has been good Volvo deals go in hours, not days. (and never from a dealer). On the up side, there will always be another deal..it may take 6 months to find it, but they are out there. Get there quick and with cash and be willing to drive a LONG way.
