take the rear muffler off. much louder. now put it back on like a good boy, noone wants to hear your volvo.

 

My last muffler change on my 240 I had a Dynomax Super Turbo put in the rear position. I kept the front muffler; the exhaust guy is a Volvo Redblock nut too, and recommended it. It's a lot smaller than the original one- gives a great, low tone sound with no droning or popping. A new 2.25" tailpipe without the funny s curve in it was welded on.
