Default 740 turbo park lights issue + steering rack issue

Hey, just got a 89 turbo 740 estate, worked thru most of my issues.
The park lights come on as soon as the key is turned on, they go off when you unplug the head light switch, and all other lights work correctly except for the high beam indicator light in the dash (it did work half way home) and I’m not to worried about it just looking for ideas on things to check for the park lights.

steering rack- It sounds/feels like an inner tie rod, but on closer inspection on the drivers side(right hand side here) the toothed arm coming out of the steering box is jumping up and down a large amount, producing play in the one wheel. I have ordered a steering rack rebuild kit form IPD as I think there should be a bush to stop that play where the toothed arm comes out of the steering rack, has anyone got a break out diagram of the Cams steering box assembly or a picture looking at that arm where it enters the rack with the inner tie rod boot removed so I can confirm I am on the right track?

how much boost can you get out of a factory setup red block before you run into major issues?

Thanks
