My 740 has been acting fine, except it is now in it's 2nd episode of starting normal and stalling right away. The first time it happened I tired putting de-icer in the gas line and it seemed to work (maybe it was a coincidence, but it was cold and wet as is today). I had to leave it at work tonight and will try that little trick tomorrow in hopes that it works. This didn't happen last winter. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

 

Does your car have one or two fuel pumps?
You might have a bad fuel pump in the tank.

 

I really don't know....but I'll check that out

 

If you have one under the drivers side of the car then you will have 2 of them.
