My 1982 240DL has L-Jetronic system, we replaced the two fuel pumps(in-tank and in-line) and the main filter canister under the hood. The car runs well now, but has a few idling issues.. in reverse the car has no problem, burn rubber all that, but when you go to use the forward gears the car immediately sputters and stalls out??
