I have a 82 245 DL wagon w/ 2.1 manual transmission , i just bought the car and havent driven it much but have recently experienced that when i start the car in the morning it idles very rough and this morning it just stalled. The engine/intake manifold shake backand forth a bit as well.I started it back up and it stalled again. i can hear the fuel pump activating off and on. i have changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor,coil and fuel filter under the hood. i dont see any smoke or anything and it doesnt seem to have any fluid leaks. what should i be looking for/cleaning?

 

I would suspect the fuel pump relay

 

thanks for your response, i have service records that indicate the fuel pump relay was replaced only 3k miles ago. i also checked idle air sensor and it works. im just trying to narrow it down.
