This is my sisters car and she kept having problems with the car dieing intermittently. It was finally traced back to the engine wiring harness that has become completely crapified and needs to be replaced. The problem is that they cost $700+ and that is a fix that my sister can not afford at this time. We are searching Pull A Part locations in the area (around Seattle) but have had no luck so far. Is the engine wiring harness specific to this year of Volvo? If not, what other years and models was it used on?

If anyone has any suggestions or comments, it would be much appreciated.

Is it CI Injection or electrical injection?

If you have some time you can remove the harness and install new wires your self.
