i have a 89 240 and i was going to put a v8 in it but my sister has a 850T and she is going to sell it becaue it smokes very bad all the time soo she doesnt think it is worth fixing so im thinking about in my 240 ..but i dont know if any one has done that before..

240 in-line engine RWD. 850 transverse engine FWD. I can see many problems arising but a good mechanic/welder/innovator may be able to do it. Personally I wouldn't even think about it.

 

put your head in a vise and turn 3x after contact, it will feel better than that motor swap will everwork.

I agree but I didn't want to be too scathing to someone who, apparently, has limitedknowledge, mechanical or otherwise.
