'86 740 est new owner - sunroof / headlining replacements??
Hi All, just joined forum as picked up a 740 est here in england
I wondered if it was possible anyone had had a go at replacing the headlining as mine is very saggy and looks tired, any ideas on how to do it, wondered if there was any hints or tips someone could pass on on how to do it / what to use???
Also, I wouldn't mind having a go at replacing the steel electrically opening sunroof, as the one on here is quite badly rusted, as well as the seal from what i can see is in a tired state, BTW the roof is operational, is it possible to get a replacement from, say, a breakers and swop the roof panel over??? Also, what about the sealing strip, is it on the roof, or on the frame surrounding it??? Any advice much appreciated.
Other than that, the car is great condition, having had 1 owner for over 18 yrs, and a full service history!!!
Catch u all soon I hope,
