'86 740 Problem
Hi, I'm new to the forum and I hope I came to the right place. I need someone's help, I replaced the distributor in my 1986 740GLE but stupid me did not mark the wires on the distributor cap before replacing it. Anyway, I put everything back together and started the car. fired right up but as I started to drive it acted like it didn't want to go anywhere. So I thought maybe I connected the wires wrong so I switched to wires and now I not going anywhere. I didn't hit me until after I switched the wires that I should have checked the timing. How do I get the distributor back to the #1 setting???
Please, OH GOD PLEASE someone out there help!!!!
