87 244 very strange turn signal issues
So my friend just bought a pretty nice 244 and we are tracking some light issues. All the lights worked besides the passenger side marker light, we checked bulbs and wiring and figured it was something with the housing. He got a used housing today and the marker light works but now the turn signal does not, the running light flashes fast and the turn signal stays dark. The passenger rear works and flashes fast, driver sides both work and flash normally, hazard lights work and blink normally except on the passenger side which does nothing at all. We checked grounds, fuses, wires and tried three different corner light assembles and had the same problem with all.
Where do we go now?
Where do we go now?

Where do we go now?
Was there ever a solution for this?!
I stumbled across this post as I have encountered the exact same issue:
passenger side front lower turn bulb
is dead and the top running light bulb flashes fast (as does the rear).
Both front and rear drivers side work fine. Hazards work fine.
just checked voltages at the steering column switch and that works.
bulb housings all tested ok. Cleaned ground at the fender those are good.
swapped entire turn signal housing and wiring to harness connector, same issue.
my thought is the connector harness side at the fender failed maybe?
I’ll test voltages at the connector in a bit...

Edit 2
Heh, so traced it to the ground at the RF fender. I had pulled them and scoured and tested continuity, but the failure was right above the ground lug
and failed again once wire was kinked back down in engine bay.
spliced a retro fit, cleaned up that ground connection once more and all is well.
