Default 88 740 brake lights

My brake lights stopped working...the brake light switch on the pedal is getting voltage and changing when the pedal is pressed. there is no voltage at the brake lights though. i traced the wire using a diagram and an hour later came up with nothing. the break light circuit is a part of the abs circuit, the wire goes from the break switch to no mans land under the dash i also noticed that the circuit goes through the bulb failure sensor by the relays behind the ash tray but if that was the problem i would think that more than just the break lights woudl not work. if any one has any suggestions please reply.

Remove and open the Bulb failure relay and inspect.
I will bet your problem is the relay.
