Default '89 240 Alternator belt

Hi all,

In the process of doing some bits on my 240. Ordered some belts and tried fitting them today...

The belts for the Crank, Waterpump and Alternator is wrong. What size should it be? I got sent 10x1100 which is far to big. I've had a look on the net but carn't find anything regarding size.

Thank you!
Dan

extra fun, it seems like the accessories on 240 engines moved around a fair bit, sometimes even mid year. the best answer is, whatever size belt you took off.

our 240 is out of state with our daughter who took it to college, so I can't even look and see what is on it, but its a 87.

VADIS says a 1989's fan+waterpump belt is a 918mm. the AC and Powersteering belts only give a confusing mess of multiple volvo PNs without sizes.

I meant to ask. The crank pulley, it looks unbalanced when the engine is running. You can see side to side movement in the rotation of the pulley. If it fails will it slip or will the whole pulley seperate from the damper ring?

Thanks,
Dan
