Regarding aftermarket parts, I purchased a new brake booster and master cylinder. The master cylinder is not nearly deep enough compared to the original, so the booster push rod constantly engages the brakes. Leading to the other issue, I need to lower the push rod if it'll even go down anymore, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to loosen the lock nut. There's no ridged section to hold with pliers, like on the OEM unit. Any help is appreciated.
