The car runs great, starts fine, it will idle high at first when started but then settle down, However the problem is when its hot out, in drive it will idle really low, at stop lights etc. it has died on me a few times if I forget to keep my foot on the gas a little. In the morning however or when its cold it outside it does just fine, Any ideas?

Try cleaning the throttle body and idle motor.
I had 3 16V cars with almost the exact problem last week and cleaning the throttle body and idle motor fixed it.
