89 740 Turbo Wagon rough idle/stalling when cold

I have a problem with a 1989 740 turbo station wagon at idles rough and stalls when outside temperature is at about 40 degrees and below. What should I be looking for to fix this problem.

Try ckeaning the throttle body and idle motor first.
