Hi guys I've been looking on the internet and I can't find a direct answer to my question. I have an 89 Volvo 240 wagon and I'm looking to get another set of front fenders my local junkyard has an 80 Volvo 240 sedan will the front fenders work? I don't know if the front end is exchangeable or not. Will the hood work as well?

 

Volvo changed fenders and headlamp assemblies in 1986. The fenders might bolt up, but the core support and headlamp/turn signal assemblies/bumper trim/and other things would have to be changed also.

So look for parts from a 86-93 240 for your 89.
