Default 90 240 air recharge

I was wondering if anyone has tried to move the air conditioner recharge valves from the back of the compressor to an easier location for them to be reached. These are much more accessible on other vehicle brands.

Do you have a filter dryer? If so, then you should have some access points there.

My car, never covered to R134, had a "T" fitting installed (non-factory/dealer) on the low side hose just above the compressor.

Thanks much. Gives me some things to check out. Sounds like it is feasible.

You might call some the local A/C shops and ask for a "straight splicer with a service port".

That would work too, as long as you can get the parts.
