It's nice to have cruise control. However, to my dismay, it doesn't work. How does one fix this?

 

Cruise consists of a vac control module under the hood, a vacuum servo, switches on the brake pedal (and clutch if manual) as well as the controller on the turn signal. And...the ubiquitous vacuum hoses. To repair, it's a matter of checking the vac hoses for correct connections and leaks and testing the various pieces for power, continuity, etc. It isn't rocket science but it is tedious.
