There's a 200k mile 1990 760 turbo in my area in decent shape going for cheap because it has some issues. The car starts and drives fine when cold but when it warms up it apparently stalls/dies. He says that it needs an "AMM wire" which I thought was kind of weird and asked for clarification, he has yet to respond. So here are my questions.
I am not very familiar with 760 turbos, are they worth buying? Or are they typically unreliable as far as late 80's Volvos go.
What would cause it to die after warming up? Is it related to the "AMM wire" being faulty?
Thanks in advance
