Yep! I figured that solution would work.

 

Had I thought about it, would have gone with a softer metal to ensure that if **** did start flying apart again, I wouldn't bork my crankshaft. But like I said, IDGAF, was ready to just weld it on anyway.

If it happens again, though, I might just try folding a penny in half.
