91 940 leaking gas an oil

Thumbs down 91 940 leaking gas an oil

Okay so i was driving my car and hit a pot hole i was driving in a feild in my cars defense but the car sat in a barn for about a year and this past year i bought it and have been driving it on and off and been working on getting it road ready for a daily thought i would push it with a few donuts because i knew it could handle it but didnt see that hole anyway where the fuel pump is right behind the driver seat underneath the car its leaking solid black substance that looks and feels like oil but smells like gas and oil mix its a bad leak but its dark and freezing where im at so could anyone please tell me whats wrong with it since i know oil and gas don"t mix.

It's a little difficult to read your note but I think I can make some of it out. It sounds like you damaged the fuel filter or fuel pump or the fuel lines under the car. The gas is most likely melting the undercoat which is the black material . You might also be washing old oil under the car from previous oil leaks but if it's gas then you damaged the fuel area. Take a look at the oil pan also as you may have damaged it also.

btw, gas and oil most certainly DO mix, its oil and WATER that are unmixable.

and yeah, what he said, sounds like you busted something around the primary fuel pump and/or fuel filter (which are right next to each other)

found the problem i busted the hose going from the fuel tank to the fuel filter its the short one about 6 inches but its back together now i just have to replace the rest of the bad hoses in it its got alot.
